So this barge landed on the auction block, and somehow it followed me home... Bought it sight unseen. The next to the last year of the square body style, these are definitely a cool truck. This one caught my eye because of the 3/4 ton and 4 wheel drive. We quickly got a crash course in working on these older GM's, and even though a lot of parts interchange over the years, there's still a lot that did change. As with any vehicle that's this old and been off the road for a while, there were a lot of details and small stuff to fix to bring it back into service.
In this installment we basically just focus on getting it roadworthy again, and planning out some future modifications. It definitely needs a manual transmission swap! Came with a TBI 350, TH400 transmission, and a 241 transfer case. Semi float 14b rear - 10b front axle.
