Conservation International Suriname has been engaging with the Brownsweg community since 2021 with the aim to strengthen its people. Certain trainings have been conducted with the financial support of the European Commission. The project was completed by the launch of a Tourism and Entrepreneurial central Market. The Market creates opportunities for the local community members to sell their crafts and other goods.
