The final song. 9 musicians weaving melodies and spontaneous ideas in real time. No rehearsal, just live communication through the language of music.
One of my favorite jam moments as you can see lol. It's just so invigorating to feel and process so much information and try to harness something of your own that fits into it, over and over and over again. Like trying to surf a wave, with 8 other surfers, for 5 minutes straight (the full clip is actually 10+ mins).
This is how we do jams where I'm from. This is how I learned to listen to what the music was saying. And how music is life, a representation of how every individual note can move in perfect harmony.
