On Day 3 of our Colorado road trip, we leave Shrine Pass and follow a scenic route through Red Cliff—a ridiculously picturesque mountain town (seriously, wow). Bonus points for being super dog-friendly! 🐾 Next, we head toward Leadville and the Mt. Massive area, stopping at Soda Springs 💦—a local carbonated spring that, well… looks a little questionable. We wrap up the day camping along Halfmoon Road, near the trailhead to Mount Elbert—the tallest mountain in Colorado 🗻 (not that we knew that at the time).
So far, the Ram 1500 + Tune M1 camper combo is holding up great. 💪 The truck handles Colorado’s rugged terrain like a champ, and the camper gives us the kind of protection a tent just can’t—especially with curious wildlife nearby.
