Morning class. Students create track using instructions given on day only: working out parts from notation, by ear or by improvising. The class lasts for three hours and a live take is recorded during that time.
Lonesome Town - recorded live June 2012, Reid Kerr College, Paisley. Overdub of glockenspiel. Some of the performers are on second instrument to get a range of instruments.
Great lead vocal by Barbara Simpson, who was at this level on every single take. Kristin Malcolm from HNC class (not pictured in video) plays trumpet.
Uploaded for the students by lecturer.
