Was a pleasure visiting F-WTSS (Concorde 001 French Prototype) and F-BTSD (Air France) at the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace at Le Bourget, France.
F-WTSS was the first Concorde to fly and was also the aircraft which performed the famous 1973 solar eclipse mission, chasing the moon’s shadow for 74 minutes over Africa. This still remains the longest continous time a solar eclipse is observed, even till today.
F-BTSD was the Concorde which carried the Pepsi promotional livery in 1996. This Concorde also holds the world record for flying around the world in both directions, eastbound and westbound.
