Formed in 1982 by Mark Strobel, singer songwriter, from Key West Florida, U.S.A.

Following the formation, THE NAME toured with many top acts, including David Bowie, Talk Talk, The Cure, and Faith No More.

THE NAME are working on a third album and after it's release, expected in 2010, they will be touring first in Germany.
