This Vauxhall Grandland was recovered in with the engine management light (EML) on and a serious loss of acceleration.

🔎 Diagnosis:
We found multiple fault codes in the engine, showing too many signal transitions and combustion failure. On inspection, the spark plugs were in poor condition… and after checking with our parts supplier, we discovered they were actually the wrong spark plugs for this engine code! 😲 The old plugs were even 2mm shorter than the correct ones.
To be thorough, we also carried out a full engine compression test — all cylinders equal, which was good news.

🔧 Repair:
We fitted the correct spark plugs, reset the DTC codes, and road-tested the vehicle. ✅ All OK and running smoothly again! 👌
