Here’s the 3rd and final video from my holiday to New Zealand/Aotearoa. This video starts in Picton the day after the Red weather wind event. The plan had been to catch the fancy train to Christchurch but it was cancelled. The bus was a great option as we scored the front seat and the views were amazing.
A friend picked us up in Christchurch and we drove to Tekapo. Saturday we hiked at Aoraki/ Mt Cook National Park. On the Sunday we hiked up to the Mt John Observatory from Tekapo. Such a wonderful country. Lord of the Rings, stunning scenery.
