The Adirondack RR offers America's longest rail passenger excursion, 216 miles roundtrip, between Utica-Tupper Lake NY. This video features views of the just-finished improvements to Tupper Lake station and track as well as the arrival/departure on August 30, 2025 of Adirondack's "High Peaks Limited," its first run of the season. Also included: interviews with Adirondack's engineer, DeAndre Walters, and with the road's railbike boss & volunteer, Harrison Smith.

The power: three ALCO C430s, just acquired by the railroad this year. Only 16 of these models were built and only 5 remain in existence.
