I’ve been working on this transcription of My New Old Friend by Alan Pasqua for my jazz student Mark! I really fell in love with the beautiful chord voicings and the tension/ release in the composition, so I had to learn it myself. The piece is also in 6/4 time, so it was a really nice challenge. If you like jazz piano, I’d definitely recommend checking out Alan’s work.
