Traditional melodies presented by Berecz András, Ökrös Csaba, and the Ökrös band. This video features two songs merged together from two different Hungarian Dance House album series. The first song is from the Vll. Magyarországi Táncház Találkozó (1988), and the 2nd song is from IX. Magyarországi Táncház Találkozó (1990), however, both of these songs were recorded on the same date, despite the publishing gap. These are some wonderful renditions of the strongly rhythmic and deeply emotional melodies from the village of Ördöngősfüzes. The first song is a wedding piece, while the second song is a collective song, sung by the village soldiers as they marched out of their homes with the musicians accompanying them.
