E-Justice Rooms in Moldovan Prisons

In response to the COVID-19 restrictions in April 2021, four E-justice rooms were launched in Moldovan prisons thanks to UNODC Justice & HIV/AIDS Sections support.
The cabins permit virtual court hearings, offline meetings with visitors, prosecutors, or criminal investigation officers. Meetings with lawyers are conducted online or offline. In addition, meetings with relatives are organized through video conference equipment.
