How to Unclog, Clean, and Refurbish your 3D Printing Nozzles!

Typically a clogged nozzle means you have no other solution but to replace it, especially when it comes to high temp materials like PEEK, ULTEM, PPSU, PEKK and more. We’ve discovered a method that works with virtually all filaments, even high temp filament clogs. Whether you have an Ender 3, Ultimaker, Prusa, or a high end Peek 3D Printer like a FUNMAT HT or AON M2, this method breathes new life into previously unusable nozzles.

For this you will need:
Clogged nozzles https://www.visionminer.com/nozzles
lowtorch
Pliers
Container of water
Tweezers and/or a small tool that fits in the nozzle for scraping

Hold the clogged nozzle with pliers and heat with a blow torch. Get the nozzle red hot and then drop into the water. Place the pliers into the water as well to cool them down. After the nozzle cools down, use the tweezers to clean out residual material. Repeat the process as needed to remove leftover plastic.
