In this video we'll service and modify two 60's Gibson GA5 Skylarks. One is an earlier Crestline GA-5 and the other is a later GA-5T with tremolo. The GA5T contains a "tone sucking network" or Sprague couplet for tone shaping. That'll get the boot and we'll tweak the rest of the circuit as well to be more friendly to single coil guitars and break up better when cranked. In the end, we'll have a more versatile pair of amplifiers hopefully.
