4k rendered playthrough of this popular rail shooter Transformers Human Alliance arcade game. Released by Sega in 2013, this playthrough took me almost 3 months to get.... So enjoy watching in 4k. It looks really good at 4k! This game originally ran on Sega Ringedge 2 hardware. It has a really cheesy story dialogue...... but it's still kinda fun to play, the animations are pretty nice and they really shine at 4k.
This game was a massive pain to get a playthrough at 4k because it crashes so much. Every few days I'd have a few goes at capturing a playthrough but it would always crash before the end of the game. I had to use a patch to make it so no life can be lost because if you lose life, the game almost always crashes, if it happens to not crash when you lose life 4 times, it will 100% crash if the continue screen pops up. Even with those 2 things dealt with, the game still crashes a lot.
The UI elements are still stuck in their original fixed location, so they all appear in the top left of the screen at 720p res, where the rest of the game and all 3d elements are rendering at 4k. Gives you a good idea how much larger 4k is compared to 720p. Hopefully someday someone with skills will make a proper resolution and crashfix patch.
