The Big East river just north of Huntsville Ontario, is a great scenic place to paddle especially if you enjoy warm, clear water and sandy beaches. There are many oxbow bends in this river, and around each bend is a white sandy beach..one after another. The river is shallow in summer but still very navigable even going upstream. This is one of my favorite places to paddle.
As a side trip you can visit beautiful Stubb's falls if you have the time..it is worth it. The river flows by Arrowhead provincial park so if you are camping there be sure to visit Big East River!! Hope you enjoy the video! Thanks for watching!
