The Sunrise Police Department has a full time School Resource Officer at all Broward Public Schools in the city. The department has also added a second officer to Piper School.

The Sunrise Police Department is committed to our School Resource Officer program. These hand picked officers are full time and receive specialized training along with their continued departmental training. We thank the Broward School Board for their participation in our SRO program.
