** Try replacing the gas cap first!!! ** much cheaper and may be the cause of various codes. **
Reasonably detailed how to for changing the oxygen sensors on a 2nd Generation (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013) Mazda 6 4 cylinder. Combined cost of sensors including shipping was $156. Dealer wanted $366 for both. Did NOT clear code 421 0421. Bad Catalytic converter. Despite the code 421 I have placed an additional 70K miles on the car with no apparent issues. I would say if it has plenty of power on the highway you may not need to replace the Catalytic Converter.
p.s. I said NGK on the tape - the correct name is NTK.
