Saying “Do you remember...” to someone with dementia can often lead to feelings of frustration, sadness, and agitation. But for those of us caregivers who have lived a lifetime with our loved-one, how do we make a change in what we say when we want to share a memory of our shared past? In this video, I discuss a simple strategy I use and why it works so well.
