In Scotland's Scottish Borders region, close to the B6401, is the Kalemouth Suspension Bridge. Close to Eckford, it crosses the Teviot River just above where it joins the Kale Water. It is designated as a Category A listed building. It is among the oldest carriage suspension bridges still standing.
