Fire Roasted Salsa
Ingredients:
Roma Tomatoes
Garlic
White Onion
Serrano Peppers
Jalapeño Peppers
Chile de Arbol Peppers
Lime
Cilantro
Chicken Bouillon
Tomato Sauce
Ground Cumin
Salt
Directions:
1. Add 4 Roma tomatoes, 3 jalapeños, 2 Serrano peppers, 1 garlic clove, and 1/4 white onion to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Adjust the amount of peppers used according to your spice tolerance.
2. Drizzle veggies with olive oil.
3. Season veggies to taste with salt.
4. Boil the veggies in the oven for 10 minutes or until charred.
5. Place the garlic clove to the side and flip the veggies.
6. Broil the veggies in the oven for another 10 minutes or until charred.
7. Added the roasted veggies to a blender or food processor.
8. Add 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce, the juice of 1/2 of lime, 1 tablespoon of chicken bouillon, 3 Chile de Arbol peppers, and a bunch of cilantro. Season to taste with salt and cumin.
9. Pulse to your desired consistency.
10. Enjoy!
