We sat down with Aaron at this home in Vista where he told some tales about his covers. The Monster Magazine from Germany was shot in 1994 at Ft. Miley in SF by Helge Tscharn while he was working and riding for THINK. The backside ollie for the 2004 Buyer's Guide of Concrete Wave was shot by the legendary yet quirky Daniel Harold Sturt. Desiree Astorga shot the cover of Keith Hamm's book Scarred for Life at a pool in Leucadia! Brendan Klein shot the final backside ollie at the HILLTOP pool in Salbaland. Shout out to Phil Shao and all the DMSR locals that Aaron grew up skating with. Vista, CA March 2025. Till the wheels fall off!
