Grimace in the Backrooms: A McOdyssey is a short-comedic play written, directed and put together in 24 hours. It is a product of The Nautical Stars Theatre Co.’s yearly event: X-treme theatre.
In X-treme theatre, there are certain guidelines you have to follow when writing the script. These requirements change every year. In X-treme theatre ‘25, each show must include:
the theme: fast food
a character with an accent
a trigger word that causes a character to scream
a reference to each main stage show from the 24-25 season
a musical number
a tap solo
a famous person mimic
improv to random music
an unknown prop brought on stage and given to any one of the cast members at random.
