AUTUMN PORRIDGE RECIPE

OATMEAL:
1/4 cup oats
1/2 cups of milk
half tsp maple syrup
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg

CARAMELIZED APPLES:
1 apple
1 Tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp brown sugar

TOPPING:
Toasted walnuts or pecans

APPLE PIE RECIPE

Crust:
1¼ cups (170g) all-purpose flour
4 oz (110g) unsalted vegan butter, chilled
1½ tsp (6g) granulated sugar
Pinch of salt
2 Tbsp (30 mL) ice water

Filling:
6 - 8 apples, sliced (used 6)
Pinch of salt
3 Tbsp light brown sugar
1/2 lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon (can increase if you want more cinnamon-y)
1/2 tbs ground ginger
Add all into a pot, set it to medium-low heat and mix until apple slices are soft.
Cool it before adding it to the pie.

Crumble:
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup cold butter
Mix with fork to get even crumbles.
