Back on the field capturing footage for a live production in the works. This is a private scrimmage organized by Dragoons, Grit, Gunnerz, and Jackpot to emulate tournament gameplay. Featuring a mix of players from Ameture B to Pro Champion ranking and shot on the Z Cam E2S6G with Canon power-zoom ENG lens in H.265 I am back to shooting in Log as I have recently made the switch to Davinci Resolve since my Adobe subscription is out. Resolve is incredible at coloring Log files and this is probably my best color work to date even tho it's still relatively simple adjustment layer over raw footage. It is also great in the granularity of the effect controls, I have added just a touch of a sharpening fusion filter on the adjustment clip to emulate that Sony look that paintballers love. This is something I would have never fathomed doing before as I've always wanted my footage to look unique to my channel but I have come to appreciate the aesthetic that has become synonymous with in-the-net paintball footage.
