Strange But True. Series 2 episode 10: "UFOs - Pilots/UFOs - Kaikoura Lights"

I have edited the episode by adding the names of the people featured in the episode as they were originally shown on ITV. Many of the repeat broadcasts of this series names of people featured are missing as are the logo which appeared during reconstruction scenes. I have also recreated the "Strange But True Reconstruction" logo which was added on the original broadcasts during some of the reconstructions scenes, again they are often missing from repeat showings (why that is I don't know). I could only find the 1997 Strange But True Live special as a source that includes clips from this episode. If anyone has any original, unedited/unchanged episodes of Strange But True then it would great if you could upload them.

I couldn't find much information about the UFO incident involving the two Dan-Air pilots apart from the date and the pilots names (the pilots names are listed on IMDB under the episodes "cast and crew" section, hence why I have added their names), the date was the 28th August 1978. None of the UFO websites/blogs/forums, including official pilot UFO sightings databases that I've come across mention the incident. No mention either of the sighting on the Dan-Air Remembered website or facebook group. It seems like after this episode was aired the sighting was never mentioned again.
