Workshop Wednesday: Filter Upgrade for Grizzly 1.5hp Dust Collector

Today we're upgrading our old Grizzly 1.5hp Dust Collector with a Canister Filter from Wynn Environmental #notsponsored.
It's time to throw that old 30 micron filter bag away and replace it with a MERV 15 rated filter that will stop 99.999% of .5 micron particles, that's a MASSIVE jump in filter efficiency. That's not even talking about increasing the square footage of filter material from 30sq.ft to 220 sq.ft which will let our filter breathe even better, which equates to increased CFM and more dust captured!
We've also installed an additional Jet ambient air filter with upgraded Wynn Environmental filters to handle the dust that doesn't make it into the collector.
I'm pretty excited for this upgrade, it was a quick and easy install, that should deliver a lot of bang for its buck.
