Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Parade and Fireworks on Halloween Night (October 31st 2001)
During its early years, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was very different than the huge event it is today. Maybe these are just my childhood memories talking but I feel like social media has changed the vibe of Disney’s after hours parties. It’s all merchandise, food and photo ops, whatever can create the most buzz online. Back in the day if felt like they were really rewarding the fans willing to dish out the extra dough to stay after park close to enjoy the extra magic at the Halloween and Christmas parties. Again maybe it’s the nostalgia talking but Not So Scary hit different back in the day. Hope this video can recapture some of that magic for you! Happy Halloween!!
