DYING FETUS “From Womb to Waste” (TAB, guitar cover)

Dying Fetus wrote a song about a dying fetus! Featured on “Reign Supreme” from 2012. This has become one of their most popular songs and I have been playing it for so many years now. It is always something I come back to jam on, so I decided to make a better video of it than my previous take. It is a great exercise in endurance - the down picking on the second half of the song gets intense, just when you think it is going to let up!

The tab has a few corrections from what is on Songsterr as well as the other main tab websites that have Guitar Pro files for download. The first arpeggio/sweeping part at 1:24 is played exactly how John Gallagher plays this on the record, at least in terms of the accuracy of the notes themselves. I was able to determine this by isolating the guitar with software and slow it down as much as it would let me. The second arpeggio at 2:05 is also taken from slowing the tempo down as well as some personal footage from when I saw Dying Fetus live in 2022. The third arpeggio is the correct notes, though John Gallagher does not play this part live (so there is no way to verify the proper positioning).
