India’s Invisible Wildlife Heroes | Cara Tejpal | TEDxBITSPilani

In this TEDx talk delivered at BITS Pilani in January 2019, Cara Tejpal, a prominent conservationist, talks about the unsung heroes of wildlife conservation. She brings out a unique relation between the endangered animals and the wildlife community and also shares the hardships that Indian wildlife is facing today. She gives an insight into the Mud-on-Boots project as well.

Cara Tejpal has been well known to lend her skills to help confront the gamut of conservation challenges in India. She works on policy documents and develops campaigns under the umbrella of the Sanctuary Nature Foundation while also heading their unique Mud-on-Boots Project. She has previously worked with the Bagh Foundation on conservation policy matters and The Gerry Martin Project on snakebite management and mitigation in India.
