Going to be my 1st year deer hunting. Bow/crossbow is a much longer season in NJ I decided to go with a higher velocity crossbow to hopefully make clean quick kills that are more humane.
I’m a proficient gun shooter but new to the crossbow world. This is similar but different.
I ended up damaging all of my bolt fletchings before I completed sighting in the bow. They overpenetrated my target which is a sign that they will have good deer penetration.
