Here, we see the preserved set of 1930s R1-9s being used in museum train service for the annual 2023 Transit Museum Nostalgia Trip to the Rockaways! The R1-9s, which were retired in the 1970s, are great examples of art deco 1930s subway car design. Enjoy!
