Night Driver Arcade Restoration -- Epic Barn Rescue!

Tod and Cindy are back again with another massive arcade restoration project: Atari's 1976 classic, Night Driver!

Get ready for a crazy journey! It starts with a 6-hour road trip to a barn tucked deep in the Michigan woods where a Night Driver cabinet has been rotting away. The game barely survives the trip home, and the next morning's light shows just how damaged and decayed it has become!

The base is rotting out, the control panel and coin door are covered in rust, the monitor and circuit boards don't work, the wiring has been cut--perfect for an epic arcade restoration!

This game has special meaning to Tod--it was the very first arcade game he played! Night Driver achieved great popularity in the late 1970s, with a 1st person perspective and simple (yet addicting) gameplay, spawning a best-selling Atari 2600 version. Yet it's rare to see one in the wild and largely forgotten in the annals of arcade history.
