In a place called Rivet Town, a small, slow-paced and peaceful society populated by robots, there lived a significant robot named Rodney Copperbottom.
Throughout his childhood growing up, he idolized the famous inventor Bigweld who believed that every robot can shine no matter what they're made of and is destined to fulfill his dream and work for Bigweld Industries.
Little does he know, however, that a very menacing, arrogant and corrupt right-hand man named Phineas T. Ratchet, is planning to wipe out every last spare part from existence and replace them with pricier upgrades....
