After the FDA announced a ban on Red Dye No. 3 earlier this year, companies are looking to make the switch to natural dyes. Chew, a food innovation lab in Boston, is showing how natural sources like cabbage and beets can be used to achieve the vibrant colors for a variety of foods and beverages.
