As Youtatia fell further into ruin, the prophecy remained as the sole source of hope for those who still believed in salvation. But who was this saviour? How would they know? The wind’s still breath gave no answer. Many believed that becoming the hero would lead to fame, fortune, and power; corrupted by their selfish desires, countless ventured out, only to never return. Over time, the inhabitants of the world began to give up, the prophecy slowly fading into nothing more than a distant myth mothers told their children before bed.

However, one such child never forgot the story she was told. Perhaps she would join the others who'd gone out in search for the treasure, only to never return. But— Perhaps she would go on to do what no one else had. Motivated by a pure desire to save the world and that alone, she set out on her own. The journey was tumultuous, the terrain unwelcoming. Sand and leaves whipped around, a relentless storm following her wherever she went; when it seemed as though she too would fall, was when things shifted.

The powerful breeze brushed by once more, only this time, it brought with it the Khoros; as her fingers touched the smooth surface of the item, memories flashed through her eyes, the lives of past adventurers encouraging her. The wind picked up, whirling chaotically around and imbuing the girl with its powers; it was then that she realized. The furious gale that had been at her back the whole time wasn't her enemy; it had been guiding her. Armed with its blessing and the souls within the Khoros, the adventurer set off with renewed determination.
