20 years ago I was in the Shawnee Mission Theatre in the Park (KC) production of The Sound of Music (as Herr Zeller). As a father / daughter project, Katie and I shot footage of the sights and sounds behind the scenes during Tech Week of the play. I believe this was July of 2004. It was brutally hot. Another reason I did this was I had been laid off from my management job at KCTV5, and I greatly missed telling stories with pictures and sound.
