You can even use WordPress to create an online store by using the popular WooCommerce plugin. Wordpress is the self-hosted version of WordPress. This is the version you’ll use to run WordPress on your own web hosting account. When you use this version, you have complete control over the design and functionality of your site. You can use whatever theme you like and install any plugin with no limitations.
What is Wordpress Hosting:

In the purest sense, WordPress web hosting is a host that’s been optimized to run WordPress. The additional features offered will vary depending on the type of WordPress hosting you go with. But, generally it’ll be equipped with features like one-click-install, so you can quickly install WordPress on your site, or automatic updates to the WordPress core.
