Best Reasonably Priced Brake Kit for The GTR | Installation

If you've been on the fence about purchasing a replacement brake kit for your GTR, the brake kit from Speed by Design is not just a high-quality kit, but it's a budget friendly brake kit for the GTR platform as well.

As I'm sure you've seen doing your own research, the cost for a replacement brake kit for the GTR can be upwards of $10k, which is mind blowing. Although, maybe those high-end brake kits are needed for the heavy track use.

Personally, I use my GTR around town and will very rarely will I ever track it... when I do it's going to be a drag strip. So, in my opinion, the GTR brake kit will be more than most people who own a GTR will ever need.

You'll have to stay tuned in for an upcoming video I have slatted to give you my milage update on this brake kit, but so far we're really, really happy with the performance of the Speed by Design GTR brake kit.

The titanium rotor hat hardware is such a nice finishing touch and worth every penny! The corrosion resistance makes it a much buy, but the aesthetics it adds to the car just add to the supercar vibe.

GTR Brake Kit Torque Specs:
Large hex head bolts - 74ft lbs
Long middle bolt - 18ft lbs
Bolts for the two bars - 22ft lbs
Rotor hat bolts - 8ft lbs

Brake Bedding Process:
1. 35mph down to 10mph (back to back) (do this twice)
2. 60mph down to 10mph (back to back) (do this three times)
3. Drive without stopping for one minute to let the rotors cool back down
*This procedure is done at your own risk
