Freshman Tips and Advice!

So, freshman year has been over for me and now I'm a sophomore! Cool beans. Here's all the tips:

1) Don't be annoying. Everyone already HATES you hahaha. Don't make it worse! Just play it cool, but don't THINK you're cool just because you're a freshman.
2) The first day of school is scary, but not if you make it out to be! Get a friend or two, and walk in together. If you don't have many friends, strut your stuff and walk in with your head held high. It's not as bad as you think!
3) Be prepared. Highschool is way more different than middle school. You'll really need to step it up and STUDY STUDY STUDY. Do your homework and be a good kid. Being teachers pet isn't a bad thing! :)
4) Organization is key. I recommend having a one inch binder for each of your classes. Or if you prefer you can buy an organizer, but they're more expensive. Don't lose any of your homework or tests. You might be able to correct them later on!
5) Last but not least, don't take advantage of the teachers and staff. Although some highschools are lenient, you want to be sure and get on your teachers' good side. No matter how mean they are or how much you don't like them, if they like you, you won't have to worry about fighting or extra homework! Ladies, the dress code still exists as much as it did in middle school. Don't wear booty shorts or strapless tops. It's not worth the embarrassment of changing.
