This video demonstrates several features of the 6300 Cultivator.
1. How the open-top crop shields tuck the beans in and allow the soil to flow around the base of the plant, killing the weeds in row.
2. Speed is your friend, loosen the dirt and spread the dirt.
3. Each row is able to flex up and down keep via the parallel linkage.
4. The cutaway disks are just set tight to the crop row,
*Cutting away weeds
*Cutting through residue
*"Stirring" up dirt to be spread in-row around the crop base
5. The "wake" of dirt coming off the shovels, hitting the crop shield, and flowing under the crop shield and in-row.
That is a pair of identical twin 6300 Henke Buffalo 24-30" Row Cultivators running 7.5 MPH in Organic Soybeans.
They are being pulled by a John Deere 8R-370 and a John Deere 8RX-410.
