G0458Z & G0458 Drum Sander Conveyor Tracking Adjustment

Follow along to learn how to adjust the conveyor feed belt on the G0458 and G0458Z Open-End Drum Sander from Larry, one of our Grizzly Industrial service techs.

This video walks you through the basic adjustments needed to de-tension your belt, then work back, step-by-step until a proper alignment and tune is locked in.

Please note: This is a routine maintenance task, as the belt can shift over time with heavy workloads or if the machine is jarred. The tuning process for the conveyor belt can take an hour or more, with the majority of that time being actual runtime of the machine as the belt settles, so please plan accordingly. During the final, fine-tune steps, small adjustments can make all the difference in getting a perfect tune!
