ONE BODY RECOVERED, TWO STILL MISSING IN CHADONG CAPSIZE INCIDENT.

One out of the 3 missing bodies of Chadong Boat Capsize incident of April 28 was found today. The body is of 35 year old, Sagakpam Rajiv. Bodies of 29 year old, Romen, younger brother of Sagakpam Rajiv and 19 year old Ningthoujam Rani, Daughter of late Nanao are still untraceable. 14 divers of the Indian Navy along with Personnel of State Police, Manipur Fire Service, National Disaster Respond Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Respond Force (SDRF) have been trying to find the bodies with high quality under water navigation equipments since early Tuesday morning. Villagers of the area also joined the search operation. Some villagers went on boat and submerged a rope with a hook attached at its end. Around 3 PM today, the body caught on the hook which was then pulled up with the help of NDRF and SDRF teams. Family members identified the body and it was then taken to JNIMS morgue for further investigation. It maybe mentioned that various Ceremonial rituals were performed by people of various communities in the state to locate the bodies.
