Interviewing Luke Skywalker in His EPIC First Disneyland Meet and Greet + Ahsoka & Vader!

Hi everyone! This Star Wars character meet and greet was taken at Disneyland in California in late March 2025. In this video, I meet up with the legendary Luke Skywalker as he makes his epic debut in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, for his very first meet and greet. He is appearing for a limited time during the Season of the Force event, which takes place from March 28- May 11, 2025. He appears as his young self, set a few years after Return of the Jedi.

Here, Luke meets up with his droid R2-D2 and they stroll around the Millennium Falcon together. I had the honor of interviewing Luke about his favorite memories with Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Princess Leia, and he tells me all about the amazing adventures he had with them. We also have an amazing chat about his parents, Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala. Luke explains that he is visiting the planet Batuu (Galaxy’s Edge) to find sacred Jedi texts that will help him rebuild the Jedi Order. He also meets with many other guests and tells them epic Star Wars stories about the Ewoks, meeting Yoda, the Mandalorian, Grogu (Baby Yoda), and more. He also meets his mini-me, and he even teaches some people how to use the Force. At the end, Luke walks away with R2-D2 and tells everyone, “May the Force be with you.”

After I see Luke, I meet up with Ahsoka Tano, who was the Padawan of Luke’s father, Anakin Skywalker. I call her Snips just like Anakin used to do, and I ask her if she has any messages for Luke. She tells him that he needs to form his own path. We also discuss her favorite memories with Anakin and she recalls the first mission she ever had with him during the Clone Wars.

Later on, I head over to Tomorrowland, where the timeline is a little bit looser, as Anakin himself, aka Darth Vader, was making special appearances in the former Star Wars Launch Bay. I called him Anakin when I first saw him, and he didn’t take that too well. I asked if he regrets killing his master Obi Wan and his wife Padmé. I tried to convince him to go back to the light and that there was still good in him, just as Luke and Padmé believed. I told him that Luke was here and that he wanted to rebuild the Jedi Order. Of course, Vader didn’t take that too well either, and it was hilarious!

It was so incredible and epic to see Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, Ahsoka Tano, and Darth Vader. I hope you enjoy this video, and don’t forget to like and subscribe! Thanks for watching!
