The 2022 - 2023 Whiteline tarmac rallysprint run by North Shore Sporting Car Club was the first season we ran the new full layout at Sydney Dragway. The new layout of over 4KMS required a higher level of navigation than before and the entry of some new super fast competitors in cars with even more power than mine, and up against an array of young talented drivers , meant the skill and speed required to be competitive and the reliability of the car was more important than ever before. My new Navigator Luke McFarlane was a big asset to me in this series! Pushing harder than ever I did manage to damage the car ...but the great team at Dashsport, led by Darren Williams with help from Jackson and Josh to ensured the car was up to the challenge. Engine work by Abe and tuning by Scott at insight added to the performance and reliability of the mighty Lancer Evo VI. Thanks also to John McCredie and the team at OHM productions for putting this series summary together. Congratulations to Brett Middleton and the team from NSSCC for getting the vision of full track series to reality...It was a massive effort and is appreciated. This is perhaps our third series win...It was the hardest and most satisfying!
