Working on a Shibaura S753 out of a 1986 Ford 1310 compact tractor this week. Parts for these engines are just about cost prohibitive for most folks. A set of undersized rod and main bearings for it is almost $800. This tractor belongs to my dad and we are attempting to get it back together and running with a minimal outlay of cash. I have done this before with other types of engines and had good success. I’m sure there will be naysayers as there always is, those folks can go pound sand keep their comments to themselves.
