The idea of this video is not to show you how fast you can kill Pyro Pete solo, but how you can kill him without being affected by his fire and corrosive waves and therefore without having to deal with the adds. All you need to do is hide behind the poles of the scaffolding. You need to 'line of sight' him using either one of the 4 poles. There are more nuances which you can learn to maximise efficiency, but that's the most important trick. I messed up just once.

You can do this with less gear as well, it just takes longer. The build is obvious, slag/electrocute/corrode on phaselock.
