On July 12, 2023, Miami-Dade County's Chief Heat Officer Jane Gilbert hosted a virtual training on heat health preparedness in collaboration with The Children's Trust and the Xavier Cortada Foundation as part of the Heat Season initiative, #KeepCoolMiamiDade.
