How to make Plarn for Homestead Rugs

Hello Everyone!
This is the first video in my new series on Reduce, Reuse and Recycling around your homestead.
They always say that the first step to recovery is to admit that you have an addiction. I am addicted to crocheting. Infact, I am so addicted that when I run out of projects, I crochet plarn. Plarn is a low cost way to crochet rugs and other items for your house. Plarn rugs are easy to care for, durable and resemble rag rugs. Currently, I do not have flooring down in my house, just concrete. These rugs are great conversation pieces so no one is acutally looking at my bare, ugly concrete floor. Also, plarn rugs can be made for ground cover under sleeping bags. For care, the rugs can be taken outside and shaken. If they need washed, just rinse off with a hose and hang them on the clothes line. Do Not put these in a dryer, they will melt.
